Waves Upon a Winter Wonderland

Cole and Megan came to our Loft looking for a venue to hold their intimate December wedding, and we couldn’t have been more excited to show them all the potential customizations to make their dreams come to life!

To start the special day, Megan and her lovely Bridesmaids put on the final touches to their outfits in our cozy third floor Bridal Suite, with a view from the tower overlooking the preparations.

Megan looked like royalty in her stunning dress with its floral overlay and beaded embellishments!

Cole and his Groomsmen looked sharp in their gray suits, an elegant contrast to the ladies’ icy-blue gowns.

We angled the ceremony out on our Patio for a backdrop of Downtown San Diego and the Coronado Bridge.

This position also helped fit all of Megan’s Bridesmaids!

Simply Adina Floral Design worked her magic on the incredible floral bouquets, ceremony arch, and table decor.

Bringing out silvery eucalyptus and soft blue thistles, she rounded out the happy couple’s winter wedding theme.

As guests moved inside for Cocktail Hour, Personal Touch Dining served up the Bride and Groom’s favorite drinks!

Everyone’s favorite was the “Blushing Bride,” a sparkling version of a Bay breeze, and a perfect fit for our bay-front Loft.

Personal Touch Dining also kept guests talking about Cole and Megan’s delicious hand-picked appetizers.

Each place setting had snowflake bottle openers with a thank you note as a wedding favor!

After some romantic sunset pictures, the love birds rejoined the party with their Grand Entrance and First Dance as Husband and Wife!

Personal Touch Dining poured champagne for toasts, and then opened their spectacular buffet to begin dinner service!

Pictured below: the hearty Rustic Chicken topped with Cheddar and Jack Cheese, Crisp Bacon, Onions, Bell Peppers, and a creamy Chipotle Sauce.

The end of dinner signaled the opening of the dancefloor, and thanks to Bill Calhoun Mobile Music, everyone gladly took the chance to dance and make room for the desserts later to come!

This beautiful three-tiered cake, decorated to perfection and from Flour Power Cakery, incorporated a family heirloom brooch from the Bride’s side of the family.

Guests enjoyed the decadent chocolate and red velvet cake slices as well as extra donut holes, chocolate-covered strawberries, and cookies from Personal Touch Dining.
