Peaches, Blues, and Big “I Do’s”
We wanted to wish a super happy First Wedding Anniversary to Desiree and James! While we’re still in shock that time flew past us so fast, we can’t help but reminisce. Thanks to Debra Morrison Photography, we can share all the fantastic photos from this amazing couple’s special day!
Getting Ready!
The afternoon of James and Desiree’s Big Day arrived, and as usual, the Bridal Suite was gearing up for the festivities in style! Shades of blue were such a popular color for Bridesmaids’ dresses last year, and we can see why. It looks fabulous on all of these lovely ladies!
James and his Groomsmen enjoyed passing the time playing the many games available in the Groom’s Room on the ground floor. While they waited for Desiree to finish getting ready for the First Look, they played Darts and Fooze Ball!
We can’t get enough of a good First Look! We recommend them to all our couples. It provides the love birds a moment alone to share before the wedding and reception craziness begins. Plus, look at these pictures! The backdrop couldn’t be more perfect.
The Ceremony
Back on our outdoor Patio, Whimsey Florals put some final touches on the ceremony area. Floating candles are so romantic, and bundles of silvery eucalyptus perfectly accented the arch at the top of the aisle.
Their friend JD officiated the service and had everyone laughing just before the happy couple exchanged vows. Big moments like this need a little lighthearted fun to help shake off the exciting energy.
Once the vows were sealed with a kiss, the newlyweds floated back down the aisle to the cheering of their friends and family! We love that “I Do” Glow. It warms our hearts knowing we could help bring such wonderful people together forever.
Reception
Personal Touch Dining took the reigns at this point in the night. Guests flocked to the bar for some expertly crafted cocktails; meanwhile, servers passed around appetizers. Pictured below is one of our personal favorites: the Chicken and Waffle Bites!
Gold Frame Media opened their photo booth during cocktail hour. There, guests put their Diva skills to work and used the many props to stage their own photoshoots!
Finally, the Bride and Groom made their Grand Entrance back into the reception. Flanked by their enthusiastic bridal party, it was clear the crowd was ready to celebrate!
Depending on each client’s preferences, our “Dance Floor” can be anywhere in our main room. Our most recommended location is right in the middle. This way, everyone in the room can see the First Dance and other shenanigans from their seats!
Once everyone was seated, Personal Touch Dining opened their buffet. The incredible smell of Fresh In-Season Veggies, Creamy White Cheddar Potatoes Au Gratin, and their signature Marinated Tri-Tip caught everyone’s attention. We heard so many guests give rave reviews of the food too!
Right after dinner, the attention was directed to the Sweetheart Table for Toasts. The Bride and Groom’s champagne glasses were customized and dressed for this special moment!
DJ Matt Franke opened the dance floor to everyone after the last toast, and guests really rocked out in our Loft!
Some went back out to the patio area. Hardworking staff from Personal Touch Dining converted it into an outdoor lounge during cocktail hour. To give their dance moves a rest, under heaters and market lights, guests of all ages played lawn games such as Giant Connect Four, Corn Hole, and Giant Jenga.
All that dancing worked up an appetite for something sweet. As the last traditional duty of the evening, Desiree and James took a brief moment to cut their wedding cake. This opened up the dessert station for everyone to help themselves to some cupcakes while they dance the rest of the night away!
Thanks!
We’re so happy to be a part of such a beautiful love story. Working with James and Desiree was a dream, and we wish them all the best in their bright future together!
Thanks to the amazing team of vendors who helped us make the magic happen! Special thanks to Debra Morrison Photography and Personal Touch Dining for all of their hard work.
