We had a wonderful experience with Annalisa and her crew at Harbor View Loft. We wanted a private venue with stunning views and we got it! All of our 150+ guests raved about the harbor views as well as the views of Coronado Bridge, downtown San Diego, and a gorgeous sunset. Tons of parking for everyone. There are hotels nearby for out of town guests. Service was great, the apps and main course were delicious. During the planning, Annalisa walked us through choices of table cloth and settings, colors, food items and ceremony itinerary. We had a food and drink tasting at their headquarters weeks prior to the event to let us decide what we want on our menu. On our wedding day, Annalisa was on top of things and we didn't have to worry about anything...except whether or not he'll say "I do". Of course he did!

Yes. Every couple books the same all-inclusive wedding package, with catering by Personal Touch Dining, professional staff, decor, and setup, service, and cleanup handled by one team. The inclusions and the level of care are identical for every wedding we host.

Can we plan a gender-neutral or non-traditional processional?

Yes. Gender-neutral processional and ceremony structures are available, and the order of entrance is set by the couple rather than a template. Some couples enter together, some walk with parents or friends, and some skip the processional entirely and begin with guests already gathered on the balcony. We coordinate the timing and cues for whichever version fits.

Can we include cultural or religious traditions in our ceremony?

Yes. Hand-fasting, glass-breaking, jumping the broom, unity rituals, and family traditions all fit within the ceremony, indoors in the loft or outside on the wraparound balcony. Couples share the traditions they want during planning, and we stage the space and the timeline around them. Can our wedding party be mixed-gender or include "best people" instead of bridesmaids and groomsmen?

Yes. Wedding parties at Harbor View Loft take whatever shape the couple chooses, including mixed-gender sides, one shared party, best people, or no wedding party at all. We adjust the processional, seating, and photo timeline to match.

Do you recommend LGBTQ+ welcoming photographers, DJs, and florists?

Yes. Couples receive vendor recommendations from LGBTQ+ welcoming partners, from photography to music and florals. Photography coordination is planned for any couple configuration, so portraits, family photos, and the shot list reflect the couple rather than a default script.

Do we need a California marriage license to get married at Harbor View Loft?

Yes, for a legal marriage, and the same rules apply to every couple. In San Diego County, both partners appear together at a scheduled county clerk appointment with valid government-issued photo ID. The license is valid for 90 days and can be used anywhere in California. After the ceremony, the officiant signs it and returns it to the county for registration.
